BeFunky's Background Remover detects the subject and turns the background transparent in one click inside the BeFunky Photo Editor. Remove and Keep brushes refine the edge wherever the automatic pass needs help. You can keep the cutout transparent, drop in a solid color or another photo, and carry the result into BeFunky's effects, collage maker and design templates.
It runs in the browser and in BeFunky's iPhone and Android apps, reading JPEG, PNG and BeFunky's own BFD files. Background removal needs BeFunky Plus, a monthly or annual subscription that also unlocks the AI tools and premium effects. Removing backgrounds in batches needs the higher Pro plan.

When to use
