Firefly's object remover, which Adobe calls Generative Remove, erases things from photos and generates what should be behind them. You brush over the object or person, and Firefly fills the area with content generated from the rest of the scene rather than cloned pixels. Complex backgrounds and patterns can be rebuilt. The same technology is in Lightroom and Photoshop. Firefly's web editor needs no installation.
It runs in the browser and in the Firefly mobile apps. It needs a free Adobe ID. On the free plan each removal spends generative credits from a monthly allowance. Paid Firefly plans include unlimited standard generations. The credit cost shows before you generate.
