PhotoRestore.io repairs old family photos with AI: scratches, tears, stains and fading. You pick how far the repair goes: conservative, balanced or enhanced. Up to ten photos can be restored in one batch. The same workspace also colorizes black-and-white shots, sharpens and upscales the restored file, and removes backgrounds. Results can be grouped into albums to keep or share.

It is free. Downloads carry no watermark, and there is no paid tier to move up to. Restoring and downloading takes no account. It runs in a browser on a computer or a phone, and the vendor states images are processed without being stored.
