When to use
Fotor's glare remover fits when a bright reflection is spoiling an otherwise good photo. Use it if:

When NOT to use
Skip Fotor's glare remover if any of these describe you:
- The glare is on eyeglass lenses. A test portrait came back with the lens shine still there. Fotor has a separate glasses tool, and other reflection removers target lenses.
- You want to control exactly which reflection goes and which stays. This runs on its own with no brush, so a photo editor is where you do it by hand.
- The glare is a fully blown-out white patch with no detail left under it. The camera recorded nothing there, so whatever the AI paints in is invented.
- You have many photos to fix. After the first run the tool asks you to sign in, and after that it asks for a paid plan.

No. You upload the image and the AI finds the bright, reflective areas and pulls them down on its own. You do not get a brush or a step where you mark the glare. Only partly. Where a reflection is a solid white patch, the camera recorded almost no detail there. It is not hidden under the glare waiting to come back, it is absent. The AI can even out the brightness, but whatever it paints into that area is invented. Light and medium glare, where some detail survives, comes back better.
No. It targets bright reflections and leaves the glasses on the face. Removing the glasses themselves is a separate job, and Fotor has a different tool for that.
