Overview
EXIF Remover reads the hidden data inside a file and takes it out. Photos carry EXIF metadata: the camera and lens, the exposure settings, the date and time, and often the GPS coordinates of where the shot was taken. It lists all of it in a searchable table first, so you see what a file carries before you strip it. It handles images, and also video files and PDFs.
Everything runs inside your browser using local code (WebAssembly), so the file never leaves your device and is never sent to a server. Stripping keeps the parts an image needs to display, such as orientation and the colour profile. It is free with no account. You can process 20 files at once, each up to 50 MB.
